Here at Spirit of a Dove, all our Birds are bred from top class stock. They are all in impeccable condition, immaculately clean, perfectly healthly and wonderfully happy creatures.

All our birds are Rock Doves, bred for their Homing instinct, we will not use Fantails as these would not be able to find their way home after the release and as these birds are first and foremost our own pets we will not risk their safety.

For their comfort, they have a purpose built home which is safe, secure and above all clean with their own indivual or paired up area. We not only keep birds we also breed our own birds in dedicated nesting boxes. Doves pair for life and so we don't split them up, they and their offspring live their lives together.

To maintain their condition all our birds are feed with the finest mixed diet along with mineral supplement to keep their plumage in top class condition, they regularly bathe in medicated water and like nothing better than to all be splashing around together before streching out to dry naturally in the sunshine. They are also regularly vaccinated and any illnesses treated by a suitably experienced vet.

For your added peace of mind, our doves are transported in a professionally fitted out van supporting our "Spirit of a Dove" livery and all staff are polite, courteous and well experienced in handling our doves. They will be pleased to advise on the wide range of baskets, cages and release options on offer.

We are also registered with the Royal Pigeon Racing Society and the White Dove Society and all our birds have unique identity rings to ensure their safe return.
